PSE&G to Complete Work on Gas Lines in Cherry Hill
Work to take place at intersection of Brace Road and Kresson Road
Public Service Electric and Gas Co. (PSE&G) will replace the final section of gas lines at the intersection of Brace Road and Kresson Road in Cherry Hill, beginning on or about Monday, August 6. The work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., to minimize traffic disruption. Completion of this project, which began in October 2016, will allow PSE&G to permanently pave Brace Road. This project will take approximately three to four weeks to complete.
“We will make every effort to minimize disruption,” said James Venito, Jr., senior gas distribution supervisor for PSE&G. “We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to ensure continued safe and reliable gas service now and in the future.”
Although the roads will remain open during this work, there will be detours. Cherry Hill police will be onsite to direct traffic.
For everyone’s safety, PSE&G and contractor crews use work area protection. Traffic cones and utility work signs will allow the job to be done safely. The utility reminds motorists to slow down when driving through the area.
