The ongoing PSE&G gas main replacement job occurring on Haddonfield-Berlin Road (Rt 561) between I-295 and Brace Road has been conditionally approved to work with amended hours beginning Monday 5/7/2018. The job will be moving from the current daily schedule of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. to new working hours of 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., to reduce the overall duration of the project and restore normal traffic patterns as quickly as possible.
Traffic conditions will be heavily congested in the area of Rt 561 and I-295 during the morning and afternoon rush hours, so all motorists regularly traveling through this area are urged to seek alternate routes.
Please use Woodcrest Road to I-295, or Rt 70 to I-295 for access to the Interstate. Access around the work zone can also be made by using Kresson Road to Rt 561 near the Haddonfield border, or Kresson Road to Springdale Road to Evesham Road on the east end, or the White Horse Pike (Rt 30) for out-of-town travel.
