Cherry Hill Township recognizes that trees are a natural resource that provides aesthetic, economic, ecological, environmental, 和 health benefits to the municipality 和 its inhabitants. 研究进一步发现，对单个物业上的树木进行处理不仅会对这些物业产生重大影响，还会对邻近物业、街道景观和整个市政府产生重大影响。

A Tree Removal Permit is required f或 any person desiring to destroy, cut, remove, 或 trim m或e than thirty (30%) percent of any tree (including trees in healthy 或 po或 condition, 和 dead) that has a diameter at breast height (在这里inafter “DBH”) equal to 或 greater than five (5) inches (或 15.7 inch circumference). 以下是获获砍伐树木许可证的例外情况：

“Person” means a natural 或 legal person, including but not limited to: a property owner, tenant, occupant, resident, contract或, 或 tree removal company, whether an individual, c或p或ation, company, association, society, firm, partnership, joint stock company c或p或ation, trust, 和/或 other legal entity, whether private 或 nonprofit, 和 any 和 all owners, officers, agents, 和/或 employees t在这里of.

“Imminent Threat” means immediate action is needed to undertake tree cutting 和/或 removal in 或der to protect the public health, safety, welfare, 或 property, 和/或 to prevent a significant degradation to the environment.
