消防队长是樱桃山镇的消防官员。 With the help of the 火 Prevention Inspectors, the 消防局长 is responsible for inspecting all commercial facilities and multi-family occupancies to ensure they are in accordance with regulations outlined in the Uniform 火 Safety Act of New Jersey, the National 火 Protection Association and 地方条例（PDF）.
The 火 Inspectors serve as the Department’s representatives within the business and residential community, and, while seeking compliance with the fire code, also educate property owners in fire prevention methods.
