I wanted to provide an update on the State of New Jersey’s ongoing construction project along the Route 70 corridor between Grove Street/Haddonfield Road and Kings Highway affecting the Locustwood, North and South Erlton communities.
The New Jersey State Department of Transportation (“NJDOT”) has recently completed the final paving of the eastbound lanes of the roadway. This lane transfer is scheduled for Friday, December 15th, starting at 11:00pm and being complete by 7:00am Saturday, December 16th. Following the completion of this lane transfer, all South Erlton local roadways intersecting with Route 70 will be fully open.
It is anticipated that this lane shift will take place on or near the end of 2023. In coordination with this lane shift, all Locustwood and North Erlton local roadways, from Kings Highway to Haddonfield Road, will be closed at their intersection with Route 70, except for the Georgia Avenue/Edison Avenue Traffic Signal, Cooper Landing Road and Fulton Street.
承包商R.E.
I remain committed to representing our community’s interest as this project progresses.
Susan Shin Angulo
