Four Cherry Hill 镇委员会 Members kicked off their new terms in office Wednesday evening as they were sworn in at the Township’s annual reorganization meeting.

“My pledge to you is that I will continue to work hard, each and every day, to protect our neighborhoods, ensure public safety, and to safeguard every taxpayer dollar, ensuring that Cherry Hill remains affordable. We will invest in our community, our roads, our parks and public spaces to keep Cherry Hill a special place to live,” said Council President Fleisher, who was administered the oath of office by Congressman Donald Norcross.

Congressman Norcross also administered the oath to Councilwoman Roskoph, who said it was an “honor and a privilege” to again be elected to serve the people of Cherry Hill.
“I am ready to continue my commitment to the residents of Cherry Hill. Eight years ago, when I took office, I said my purpose was to make Cherry Hill the place that my students would want to come back to raise their families, and that's still true today,” said Roskoph, an English teacher and Student Activities Coordinator at Cherry Hill High School West. “And there's an addition to that -- I want them to come back, and I want them to stay. 我希望他们能和我父母住在一起，和我住在一起。 That is my goal.”

During the last four years we’ve accomplished many things. We know there's much work still to do and are ready to do it.”

“During my time on Council, I endeavor to continue to learn more about the people and the businesses that make Cherry Hill work and listen to the concerns of our residents. Cherry Hill is a great town filled with residents with many diverse backgrounds,” said Councilman Carter, who was also sworn-in by former Mayor Bass Levin. “In cooperation with my colleagues on the 镇委员会, the Mayor, the Mayor's office, as well as our professional staff, our municipal staff and our police and fire departments, I will continue to endeavor to find ways to make our great town, even better.”
Mayor Susan Shin Angulo congratulated the Council Members ahead of the swearing in during her remarks, and said residents can "rest assured their best interests are being fiercely represented in their local democracy,” Mayor Angulo said. “Congratulations Council President Fleisher, Councilwoman Roskoph, Councilwoman Doshi and Councilman Carter. You are true public servants who represent what it means to be leaders and champions of our community."
