Growing up in a biracial family, Olivia was inspired to host her own Yard Art Show and Sale of local children’s artwork entitled “Through the Eyes of Children: What Does Black Lives Matter Mean to You?" With the help of her mother, father, and younger sister Sofia- the Ghee family created a flyer for the art show and distributed it to neighbors and Olivia’s classmates to help spread the word throughout the community.
“Through the Eyes of Children: What Does Black Lives Matter Mean to You?" allowed children of all races, from throughout the Cherry Hill community come together and express how they felt about the topic through art.
Olivia is a tremendously inspirational young woman, who serves as an example for her peers, and for young people everywhere, and Cherry Hill Township is proud to recognize her publicly and officially.
Mayor Angulo proclaimed Tuesday, August 11, 2020 to be 奥利维亚·吉·戴 in the Township of Cherry Hill.
